I was looking through some old photos recently - I didn't realize how emaciated Penny was when she first came from the shelter. Yikes! Abandoned and feeding six Saint Bernard pups will take it out of you, I guess. She's looking a bit better now (even if a bit ridiculous).

I saw a pro-shelter t-shirt recently that said "who rescued whom?"
Awww. Also, I love how the lizard cage is the center of your pet community even though the lizards are behind glass and can't interact all that much...but all the other pets like to hang out there.
it's about 120F in there and only 60 or so in the house. that makes it a very good thing to be near!
